Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of curiosity, adaptability, and a deep commitment to people. I have always focused on understanding how businesses truly work, not just how marketing functions in isolation. That perspective has allowed me to build strategies and systems that are practical, scalable, and aligned with real business outcomes.

Equally important has been my willingness to evolve. I have embraced change, leaned into new technologies, and stayed open to learning, especially as the marketing landscape continues to shift. Finally, I credit much of my success to investing in teams, listening closely, mentoring intentionally, and creating environments where people feel trusted, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to stop trying to be the loudest voice in the room and focus on being the most prepared and most consistent. Influence is built through trust, follow-through, and results, not volume.

That advice shaped how I lead. I learned that listening closely, asking better questions, and doing the work to truly understand people and problems creates far more impact than trying to have all the answers. Over time, that approach has opened doors, strengthened relationships, and helped me build teams and brands that last.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Learn the business, not just the role. The more you understand how decisions are made, how revenue is generated, and how success is measured, the more influence and confidence you will have in any room. Skills matter, but context is what turns good work into leadership.

Equally important, advocate for yourself early. Ask questions, take up space, and do not wait to be “fully ready” before raising your hand. Surround yourself with people who challenge you, invest in relationships that stretch you, and remember that your perspective is an asset, not something to soften or apologize for.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges is the pace of change. Technology, data, and AI are reshaping how marketing works faster than most organizations are prepared for, creating pressure to move quickly without losing strategic clarity or human insight. The risk is chasing tools or tactics instead of building systems that actually support long-term growth.

At the same time, that shift presents a major opportunity. Leaders who can blend technology with critical thinking, creativity, and strong people leadership are in high demand. The future belongs to organizations that invest in adaptable teams, thoughtful strategy, and experiences that feel genuinely human, even in an increasingly automated world.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, accountability, and empathy are foundational to how I show up in both my work and personal life. I believe trust is built through honesty, follow-through, and doing the right thing, even when it is uncomfortable or inconvenient.

I also value growth and balance. I am driven by meaningful impact and continuous learning, but I am equally committed to building a life that prioritizes family, health, and perspective. Success, to me, is not just about outcomes, but about how those outcomes are achieved and the people who are supported along the way.
