About Amanda
Amanda Darcangelo is a Sr. Lead Data & Analytics Consultant for OneSix and previously for CTI data which was acquired by OneSix in January of 2026. She and by extension the firm focus on strategy, roadmap development, holistic data ecosystems, and best-of-breed to support organizations as they build out their data capabilities.
Amanda has been in the data industry for over a decade and has worked across a number of sectors including eCommerce, public sector, finance, healthcare, higher education, and marketing analytics. She has experience in analytics, data science, data engineering, data & AI governance, and data communication.
She is also a thought leader in the community, discussing ethics of data and data & AI governance throughout her career. While those have been her main focus over the past few years she is still a technologist at heart with significant experience in dbt and full-stack data development across a variety of tools and applications.
Amanda is also a co-founder of Salt City Data Community and has spoken at various tech conferences about contemporary streaming architectures and ethics of data implementation. She has a BA in Political Science from SUNY Buffalo State

Knowing you're not the smartest person in the room, hoping you're not the smartest person in the room, but still striving to keep up. Always educating yourself, always continuing that work, while also trying to surround yourself with people you know you can learn more from.
