About Amanda
Amanda Ditzler is a marketing consultant and go-to-market strategist specializing in brand positioning, market entry, and strategic growth, with a particular focus on helping businesses successfully enter and navigate the U.S. market. She began her career in marketing in her 20s before expanding her professional experience into event planning, where she managed weddings, business openings, and corporate events. She later returned to marketing while living in the Middle East, where she applied her American market perspective to help companies develop strategic and creative approaches to reaching new audiences. Today, Amanda provides targeted consulting and strategy sessions, helping businesses identify opportunities, strengthen their positioning, and develop tailored marketing solutions.
Throughout her career, Amanda has cultivated a diverse international and multidisciplinary perspective that informs her approach to consulting. An early mentor with experience at McKinsey helped shape her understanding of business systems and taught her the importance of bringing together people with different strengths, perspectives, and areas of expertise. She currently collaborates with AgriPass Robotics on agricultural technology initiatives that combine innovation and sustainability, a particularly meaningful area for her given her upbringing and personal connection to agriculture. Amanda is especially passionate about creative and unconventional marketing strategies that help businesses differentiate themselves, uncover new audiences, and turn meaningful ideas into viable opportunities.
Amanda attributes her success to curiosity, adaptability, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. She believes effective marketing begins with understanding people, challenging conventional thinking, and identifying possibilities others may overlook. Outside of her professional work, Amanda lives in Spain with her family and enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures, which continue to broaden her perspective and inspire her creativity. She has also volunteered with Girls on the Run, supporting its mission to build confidence, life skills, and meaningful connections among young girls through running and team-based activities.

Ten minutes with Amanda
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to curiosity, adaptability, creativity, and a willingness to embrace diverse experiences and perspectives. I have never followed a single, traditional career path, and I consider that an advantage because my experience across marketing, event planning, international business, brand strategy, and consulting has given me a broader understanding of businesses, cultures, and audiences. I am naturally curious and enjoy looking beyond the obvious, challenging conventional thinking, and identifying opportunities others may overlook. I also believe strongly in understanding the people and ideas behind each business rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. By combining strategic thinking with creativity, unconventional marketing, and a genuine commitment to my clients’ goals, I am able to develop practical strategies that help businesses enter new markets, strengthen their brands, and connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to recognize that I do not need to be the expert in everything and that the strongest results come from surrounding myself with people who bring different strengths, perspectives, and expertise to the table. An early mentor with a McKinsey background taught me the fundamentals of business and showed me the value of collaboration and diverse thinking. That lesson has stayed with me throughout my international career and consulting work. I have learned to focus on where I can create the greatest value while respecting and leveraging the expertise of others. For me, successful collaboration is not about everyone thinking alike; it is about bringing the right people together, encouraging different ideas, and creating stronger outcomes as a team.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering marketing is to experience as much as possible and become students of human behavior. Pay attention to how people interact with products, advertising, brands, and one another in everyday life, because some of the most valuable marketing lessons happen outside the classroom or conference room. Attend industry events, explore different fields, ask questions, and seek out mentors whose careers inspire you. Do not be afraid to take an unconventional path, because experiences that may seem unrelated today can become the perspectives that distinguish you tomorrow. Above all, find work you genuinely care about, because passion fuels creativity, persistence, and the confidence to develop ideas that make a meaningful impact.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in marketing today is helping businesses stand out in an increasingly crowded marketplace, but I also see that as an extraordinary opportunity for marketers who are willing to think differently. Companies can no longer rely solely on generic strategies; they need authentic positioning, a deep understanding of their audiences, and creative approaches that uncover opportunities traditional marketing may overlook. I am particularly excited by the growth of technology, sustainability, and global commerce, which create new opportunities to help innovative businesses enter new markets, reach the right audiences, and connect meaningful ideas with the people who can benefit from them.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are authenticity, family, curiosity, creativity, connection, and giving back. I believe in being genuine with the people I work with and developing strategies that reflect who they truly are rather than forcing them into someone else’s formula. I value staying curious, embracing new experiences, and maintaining meaningful connections with the people and communities around me. Family, travel, and supporting organizations such as Girls on the Run are important sources of inspiration and fulfillment. Ultimately, I believe a meaningful life comes from remaining open to new possibilities, nurturing the relationships that matter most, and using my skills and experiences to make a positive difference.
