About Amanda
Amanda English has built a career in sales and marketing within the CPG industry, where she has worked for many years. She received her bachelor's degree in 2012. Currently based in San Antonio, Texas, Amanda serves as the secretary for her neighborhood association, overseeing all newsletters and applying her professional skills to boost collections. She previously volunteered as a Big Sister, contributing her time to community initiatives.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Rome wasn't built in a day. I know that's cliché, however I always expected fast results and when I didn't get them I was discouraged. I learned that in order to get results you had to put in the work everyday and let that compound overtime.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to share your ideas and showcase your work. Also, don't let mediocrity bring you down with it.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Keeping up with AI and teaching those skills to others.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family first always. I have found that by putting my family first, that I can give my work my best because I am happier.
