What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of resilience, adaptability, and a focus on people. Every role I’ve held—from service and manufacturing to insurance and Orkin—taught me lessons about teamwork, empathy, and leadership. Launching and growing a top-performing Orkin branch reinforced that true success comes not just from results, but from mentoring others, investing in their growth, and creating an environment where everyone can shine.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Build a strong support system—find a mentor you trust and someone you can lean on—because honest guidance, transparency, and caring for people as individuals are essential to effective leadership. I’d also recommend reading The Servant and The Culture to help shape a people-first mindset as you grow in your career.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges is learning to lead early in your career—earning trust, navigating mistakes, and building credibility, especially in a male-dominated field. At the same time, launching new branches presents a major opportunity to shape strong teams, processes, and culture from the ground up while driving high performance.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Empathy, integrity, and a genuine commitment to helping others grow are the values that guide me in both my work and personal life. I believe in creating environments built on trust, collaboration, and loyalty, where people feel supported and empowered to reach their full potential. At the core, I strive to lead with honesty, give back when I can, and make each day a positive and meaningful experience for those around me.
