About Amanda
Amanda Hernandez is a family law attorney with a background in tax and personal injury law. She began practicing in family law after passing the Florida Bar exam in April 2025 with a score exceeding 320 points, having earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law in 2024. As a first-generation attorney whose family immigrated from Cuba, she completed her undergraduate degree in political science cum laude at FIU. Her professional experience includes pro bono work in family and business matters, and she founded My Law School Tutor to support students, including low-income individuals, in passing exams such as the bar. She maintains active involvement in community initiatives like VITA tax assistance, Special Olympics, and tutoring, while handling multiple trials per month in her family law practice. Amanda is a member of the Young Attorneys Society and has received Cali Awards for Florida Civil Procedure as well as the Women Making History Award scholarship.
