About Amanda

Amanda Holt is a business development and sales professional with extensive experience helping organizations streamline operations and improve workplace efficiency. Based in Fenton, Missouri, she serves as an Enterprise Business Development Specialist at Office Source, where she partners with CEOs, CFOs, IT leaders, and other decision-makers to simplify complex back-office operations. Drawing on her background in B2B sales and marketing, Amanda specializes in connecting business leaders with managed print services, office products, workplace technology, high-end furniture & design, and document management solutions that reduce costs and increase operational visibility. Amanda's professional journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous growth. She began her career in sales through her family's business before spending more than a decade in nursing, where she earned CNA and CMT certifications and developed a strong service-oriented mindset. Returning to sales in 2013, she steadily advanced from cold calling and lead generation to sales and marketing leadership during nearly eight years at RainMaker Sales Support. Today, she leverages that diverse background to build lasting client relationships, develop strategic business opportunities, and help organizations across the Greater St. Louis and Illinois regions operate more efficiently. Known for her relationship-first approach, Amanda believes that great business partnerships are built on honesty, transparency, and trust. She focuses on understanding each client's operational challenges and delivering practical, long-term solutions rather than simply selling products. Passionate about supporting healthcare, education, nonprofit, and commercial organizations, she is dedicated to helping businesses consolidate vendors, improve workplace productivity, and focus on their core mission while Office Source manages the essential day-to-day operational needs.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Amanda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the lessons that I've learned in life, being able to turn those challenges into opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. Nothing has happened to me that is "bad" or "wrong"; it's all just a lesson and an opportunity to elevate myself.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've received is that we are just people dealing with people, which takes away apprehension, and that when you say yes to yourself, others say yes. It reminds me that everyone faces struggles, and confidence in myself leads others to trust me too.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering the field to never estimate their value by their title, salary, or network. The value is within yourself. You are who you believe yourself to be. Anything else is a glass ceiling and/or illusion.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is communication and adapting to changes in outreach methods due to AI, where cold calling is seen as less effective, but I still value it and use multiple channels like email, LinkedIn, handwritten cards, sending donuts or a nice lunch, and personal visits. Opportunities include exponential company growth and relationship building.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, trust, and transparency are most important to me, along with family.
