Her Interview

Ten minutes with Amanda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a strong work ethic, discipline, and the life experiences that taught me how to stay adaptable in constantly changing environments. I believe in putting in the work, remaining open to learning, and maintaining a mindset focused on growth and improvement. Those principles have guided my career and continue to shape how I lead, train, and develop others.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was to invest in people. When you focus on helping others grow, develop their skills, and succeed, the results follow, for the individuals, the team, and the organization as a whole.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice would be to invest in your skills, remain adaptable, and focus on building strong relationships. Success in any industry comes from a combination of knowledge, work ethic, and the ability to collaborate and support others. Stay committed to your growth and don’t be afraid to step into leadership opportunities when they arise.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

A major challenge in the field today is balancing speed with effectiveness. Organizations need employees to be productive quickly, especially in areas like onboarding and sales enablement, but quality training takes thoughtful design and ongoing support. The opportunity lies in creating smarter, more scalable learning strategies that combine strong training foundations with modern tools and data-driven insights to improve performance and employee development.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my professional and personal life are integrity, discipline, and continuous growth. I believe in showing up consistently, doing the right thing even when it’s difficult, and always striving to learn and improve. I also value supporting and developing others, because success is most meaningful when it helps those around you grow as well.
