About Amanda
I've been a dentist for over 20 years but about two and a half years ago left clinical practice to start an oral health and beauty company called Louie. I had multiple dental practices that I flipped from insurance-driven to fee-for-service models before selling. My mom's sudden passing inspired me to pursue my long-held business ideas. I now focus on moving oral care products into the beauty and wellness aisles.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Through experience I've learned the need to have trust in yourself but also don't be afraid to fail and just because you fall you can get back up. As a former distance runner I know that if you stumble you still have to get back home even if walking is the only option.
