Her Interview

Ten minutes with Amanda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a mindset of saying yes to every challenge and being willing to step outside my comfort zone. From starting as a Front Office Coordinator to earning four promotions in six years, I made it a priority to stay available, adaptable, and ready to learn new skills. Each opportunity of taking on additional responsibilities and leading new projects was a chance for me to grow. By embracing continuous learning and maintaining a proactive attitude, I have been able to build trust, deliver results, and position myself as a reliable resource for my team and the firm.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is simple but powerful: Never assume anything. In a fast-paced, detail-oriented industry, assumptions can lead to mistakes, miscommunication, and missed opportunities. Instead, ask questions, clarify expectations, and verify information. This will build trust, ensure accuracy, and demonstrates professionalism.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this field is simple: embrace your role as the backbone of the business. Learn the industry, master organization, and never underestimate the power of clear communication. Technology will be your ally, use it to streamline processes and stay ahead. Most importantly, advocate for yourself. Your contributions matter, and your voice deserves to be heard. Build relationships, seek mentors, and invest in your growth. Office operations may happen behind the scenes, but the impact you make is front and center. Always lead with confidence!

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Some professional values that are most important to me are integrity, organization and efficiency, reliability, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Some personal values include balance and well-being, growth and learning, respect and empathy.
