About Amanda
Amanda Martinez serves as a Beauty Advisor specializing in fragrance at Sephora, located in the Somerset Mall in Troy, Michigan. She began her career in the beauty industry at Sephora in 2004 and trained at Sephora University through 2012. After leaving in 2012, she gained experience in counter management and runway events with NARS at Nordstrom, as well as work in Precious Jewelry and runway events at the Detroit Institution of Art. She returned to Sephora approximately five years ago and now focuses on helping customers find their scent profiles while managing a high-volume store environment. Martinez also draws on her background in the arts and her commitment to holistic approaches, such as red light therapy and skin barrier health, to guide clients amid challenges like social media influences on young customers.
