Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my focus on people. I believe if you develop others first, and really spend the time to cultivate their strengths and lean into building their confidence, you're going to be able to see better results. So I start there with the people that I'm interacting with, and that really helps me to get the results in the end.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't underestimate the value of your voice. Speak up, share your ideas, and don't wait till you feel 100% ready. Focus on just building the relationships with others and learning as you go.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I would say right now is keeping the human connection and making sure that that's the center of everything that we do. You know, making sure that every interaction is intentional, and really providing the best service that we can for others, because in this world, people can silo themselves. Another piece to that would be that the world is ever-changing, and in the field that I work in with retail and beauty, it's ever-changing, so keeping up with those changes and being able to be flexible to adapt to them.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I would say integrity, authenticity, and really growth. Because when you are consistently showing up for the people around you as your true, authentic self, and you put your best self in anything that you're going to dive into, that's really going to support the result in the end, and meaningful relationships with those that you're interacting with.
