Amanda Schneider, LE
Amanda is a licensed esthetician with over 14 years of experience, specializing in corrective skincare treatments and holistic health. She is the founder and owner of Loving My Skin Spa, a six-room treatment spa in Litchfield Park, Arizona, where she integrates personalized skincare with mental and internal health approaches. Amanda is known in her field as the “skin nerd,” creating fully customized treatments and serums tailored to each client’s unique needs, rather than relying on cookie-cutter solutions. Her philosophy emphasizes that healthy, radiant skin reflects overall well-being, and she is passionate about educating other estheticians on breaking traditional industry norms.
Throughout her career, Amanda has competed internationally in aesthetics, placing in the top 10 for three consecutive years, with upcoming international finals in four categories. She has also leveraged her expertise to expand into holistic wellness, becoming an art therapy practitioner and hosting annual women’s empowerment retreats for the past three years. These retreats combine community support, art therapy, and integrative healing activities designed to help participants connect with their bodies and minds. Her work in oncology-adjacent aesthetics and experience treating complex skin conditions have further honed her deep understanding of the link between mental, internal, and skin health.
Amanda’s professional credentials reflect her multidisciplinary approach: she is a Reiki master, certified reflexologist, herbalist, life coach, and menopause coach, and she is currently completing certification as an integrated holistic health practitioner. At Loving My Skin, she works alongside massage therapists and wellness practitioners to offer transformative, integrative treatments. Amanda’s mission is to empower clients to “love the skin they’re in” by combining corrective skincare with holistic practices, helping them achieve both physical results and emotional well-being.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to embracing challenges that push me out of my comfort zone. As someone with autism, stepping into public speaking and teaching large groups was daunting, but taking that leap has allowed me to grow personally and professionally. Today, I teach international audiences and educate estheticians in new ways, driven by independence, resilience, and a desire to create meaningful change in the industry.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to be prepared for challenges—no matter how ready you feel, difficult times will come. Build a strong support system, because those moments are when you discover your true strengths. Early on, I had to learn a lot on my own, and it was easy to feel overwhelmed. Over time, I focused not just on the service side of the business but also on understanding the business side, while learning to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Passion drives most of us, but sustaining it requires knowing when to slow down, prioritize, and choose your battles—sometimes letting go a little is what allows your work and creativity to truly thrive.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field right now include the industry’s reliance on cookie-cutter, surface-level treatments, the pressures of social media, and the ongoing stigma around mental-health care. At the same time, there are exciting opportunities to integrate holistic approaches that combine internal and mental health with corrective skincare, to customize treatments for each client, and to expand community and nonprofit initiatives supporting survivors of domestic violence.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values in my work and personal life are self-love, empowerment, and community. I believe that true beauty comes from within—the skin is just the wrapping paper. My focus is helping women reconnect with themselves, especially as life demands like motherhood and work often push well-being to the back burner. While aesthetics can boost confidence, my ultimate goal is to create spaces where women feel supported, understood, and empowered, building a sense of tribe and shared strength.
I’m inspired by the symbolism of the lotus: resilient, beautiful, and able to grow from difficult circumstances. My personal brand reflects that same philosophy—past challenges don’t define your future. With care, support, and self-acceptance, women can transform struggles into strength and create something truly beautiful.
