About Amanda
Amanda Turner is an accomplished executive assistant and philanthropist based in Round Rock, Texas. She currently serves as Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director of Operations at Alliant Insurance Services, where Amanda supports executive leadership through complex scheduling, communications, travel coordination, project management, presentations, and administrative operations. Her career reflects her ability to adapt, take on new responsibilities, and create meaningful impact in every organization she serves.
Amanda began her professional career in office administration and steadily expanded her expertise across executive support, operations, finance, admissions, sales, event planning, and business development. She spent nine and a half years as Executive Assistant and Co-Founder of CT Austin Mobile Welding LLC, helping build the startup from the ground up and contributing to its growth through administrative operations, project coordination, relationship management, events, hiring, and strategic planning. Amanda considers watching the company grow and succeed one of her proudest professional accomplishments.
Beyond her professional work, Amanda is deeply committed to philanthropy and community involvement. Through the Alliant Insurance Foundation and other community organizations, she supports initiatives that create educational opportunities and help people build stronger futures. She is also involved with the Christie Center in Austin, First Baptist Church of Round Rock, the Texas Baptist Children’s Home, and the Wounded Warrior Project. Amanda credits her faith and the example of her hardworking single mother for shaping her perseverance and work ethic, while bringing strong morality, authenticity, integrity, compassion, accountability, and dedication to her professional and personal life.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God, my faith in Jesus Christ, and my hardworking mother. As a single mom, she worked tirelessly to provide for us and taught me the value of perseverance, love, and faith. I still feel blessed and protected by her prayers today.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to stay passionate about helping people, protect your boundaries, and recognize your value as a strategic partner. Master the art of anticipation, be more than just a note-taker, and embrace the opportunity to become the operational heartbeat of a leadership team. Above all, always keep your faith.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I see exciting opportunities in my field, including taking on a greater role in corporate philanthropy, fundraising for AIF, and managing our COFAX program. I’ve also recently been given a national-level opportunity to support high-level executives across our company, expanding my impact beyond my local team.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are strong morality, authenticity, integrity, compassion, accountability, and hard work. Above all, my faith is central to every aspect of my life and guides how I approach both my work and personal relationships.
