Amanda Wescott is the founder of Over Easy Ops and serves as a Fractional COO, helping small business owners and solopreneurs transform operational chaos into clarity. With over a decade of experience in operations management across industries including forensic labs, real estate, and restoration, Amanda has a proven track record of streamlining processes, implementing systems, and creating sustainable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that empower leaders to focus on growth rather than micromanagement. Her philosophy is simple: smooth operations create calm, confidence, and momentum for business owners.

Before founding Over Easy Ops, Amanda progressed from part-time administrative roles to Director of Operations, gaining hands-on experience in project management, team leadership, and process optimization. She has led high-volume operations, built repeatable systems, and bridged communication between leadership and staff, consistently delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and team alignment. These experiences shaped her approach to consulting, emphasizing strong foundations, discovery-driven solutions, and long-term sustainability for small businesses.

Beyond her entrepreneurial work, Amanda is deeply involved in community impact initiatives. She serves as Chair of Marketing and a board member for the Soul Tea Foundation, supporting second-chance employment and mentorship programs, and assists with operations at Soul Tea PBC, a social enterprise blending tea with social impact. A Warner Pacific University alumna with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Amanda combines her operational expertise with a commitment to helping others succeed—believing that structured systems and supportive communities are key to unlocking both business and personal potential.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the support of the people in my corner, the strength of my professional network, and my own confidence in my abilities.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to follow your passion and turn it into a business. Build and lean on a strong network of supportive people—especially other women—who can refer, back, and encourage you. Surround yourself with a powerful community that will champion your growth and open doors along the way.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is the growing acceptance and demand for fractional C-suite and operations roles. At the same time, I face challenges in scaling a solo-run operations practice, building a reliable team, and managing financial constraints while striving to offer fair compensation, including for overseas contractors.
