About Amanda
Amanda White serves as a Senior Services Pharmacy Outreach specialist at MedMinder, a home-delivered pharmacy founded in 2007 that provides medications and customizable reminder devices to patients' homes. In her role of 1 year and 9 months, she engages with senior centers, housing communities, and healthcare organizations to promote services, build relationships, and support MassHealth-eligible individuals. Previously, she worked as an account manager for Boar's Head and spent 4 to 5 years in insurance and Medicare after obtaining her health insurance license, experiences that honed her ability to explain complex information and assist others. A people person who values honesty and integrity, Amanda enjoys the freedom to network at events, connect with social workers and discharge planners, and focus on relationship building while handling some administrative tasks. She advises young professionals to start networking early and emphasizes remaining teachable and open to new opportunities.

Never stop learning. Remain teachable. Be open to new opportunities. Thinking outside the box. Find your people. Your circle.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I wish I had started sooner building my network and making connections. Start early building your network and your professional relationships because they might turn into personal relationships which could benefit you but also they might spin off into other professional relationships.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty for sure. I'm a very trusting person. Honesty integrity that's a big one for me too. Friends and family is probably the next one maintaining those relationships building relationships building new relationships making time for my loved ones.
