About Amanda
Amanda Yue brings over three decades of experience as a pharmacist, having practiced for 32 years primarily in retail settings. Observing patients growing sicker despite conventional treatments prompted her to pursue functional medicine training 10 years ago, leading to her certification as an Insulin IQ coach through the platform associated with Dr. Benjamin Bickman. With a doctorate in pharmacy, Amanda now specializes in metabolic health intervention, teaching clients to reverse insulin resistance naturally and restore metabolic health using evidence-backed tools from Unicity, including yerba mate tea and fiber products studied by the University of Sydney and Cleveland Clinic. She provides free coaching, education, and community support to those using her protocol. Amanda volunteers at her local senior center and delivers talks to nonprofit organizations to raise awareness about insulin resistance, emphasizing that health is the most important value as it underpins all other aspects of life.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Amanda
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to collaborating with the manufacturer Unicity that produces the tea and fiber products I use as tools. These products are backed by studies from the University of Sydney and Cleveland Clinic. I offer coaching for free to people who purchase the protocol, providing education, community, and sustainable results.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Write down sentences that give you goosebumps and purpose. Spend quiet time going inwards to find your purpose. If something makes you feel good enough that you don't mind working for free and it still makes you feel good, that is your calling. It's not about the money, it's about the psychic reward and helping others.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge is that people think being healthy requires a lot of money and it's hard, but it is simple. The biggest misunderstanding is that people don't understand insulin is the biggest contributor to most chronic health issues, and we can reverse this 100%.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Health. If you don't have your health, nothing else matters. You can have millions of dollars, what good is it if you cannot enjoy, if you're in pain, if you can't think, if you can't eat, if you can't do the things that you enjoy doing.
