I've been working as a Chief of Staff since 2022, and I absolutely love this role because my responsibilities change not just daily, but hourly. At any given moment, I'm overseeing operations with the CEO, managing the Discord community, preparing presentation materials for investors or the monthly email to investors and advisors, spearheading hiring and onboarding, or organizing international travel. The Chief of Staff is just kind of the Swiss Army knife that does it all. I definitely worked my way up to this position. I started off doing freelance consulting work for social media management, web design, and writing out businesses' stories, doing anything people could throw at me, pretty much. I came into this role really organically, I was not looking for it, and just stumbled into girlbossing too hard, and now I have a lot of things to do. One of my most notable achievements is organizing and being a co-organizer for ReactJam, something I partnered with my current company Roon on. ReactJam is a separate entity, an online event where React developers have 10 days to build creative and fun games. We've had 6 jams in total since 2023 with an international audience of over 2,000 game developers, and have created over 150 original games. The project management and crowdfunding aspect has been incredible, where we had amazing community and sponsors that helped us raise nearly $10K in total for our prize pools.
