About Amari

Amari Fogle serves as Associate Director of Enterprise Partnerships in the digital marketing field, a role she has held for about one month after transitioning from three years as a personal banker at Fifth Third Bank. In her current position, she focuses on building partnerships by conducting community outreach and volunteering in Tampa while also editing content for her company. Fogle attributes her success to her creativity and drive to improve in every avenue, along with her passion for art and helping people find their voice. She graduated from Jefferson High School for Business and Finance in 2022, is enrolled at Hillsborough Community College, and is studying Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship at HCC with an expected graduation in 2030. Fogle is in the process of becoming a board member for the Urban Advisory Board of the YMCA, where she plans to invest back into the community through events and connections. She advises young women entering her industry to value themselves first and not conform out of fear of non-acceptance. Among the challenges she notes is learning to be comfortable with discomfort during networking, while opportunities include exploring diverse skill sets in digital marketing such as social media, television, and real-life applications.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Amari

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my creativity and my drive to want to be better in every avenue. My passion for art and helping people also plays a big role in pushing me forward.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Do not be ashamed of who you actually are. Do not sit there and try to conform out of fear that you will not be accepted, because regardless of acceptance, the only person who will be there for you at the end of every single day is yourself. So you have to value yourself first, in every sense of the word.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is being okay with being uncomfortable, especially when networking in new places which can cause anxiety. The opportunity is to learn more about different skill sets and avenues in digital marketing like social media, television, and real life.
