About Amariss
Amariss Kim brings nearly a decade of experience across consulting, technology, entrepreneurship, and investment, with a specialized focus on data center infrastructure energy. She began her career at BCG, gaining exposure in the TMT sector through projects such as launching the world's first 5G service in Korea and supporting 5G rollout in Taiwan. After BCG, she joined Google to work with clients including Samsung, SK, and Hyundai on ad implementations, then launched a metaverse fitness startup in Korea during the COVID era. Seeking to pivot into climate and energy, she pursued an MBA at Berkeley Haas in 2024, during which she collaborated with Volta Charging on EV infrastructure and Toyota Ventures on energy storage strategy. At Google X, she contributed to sustainable supply chain and wireless optical communications initiatives. She now serves at PASCI, the US investment arm of SK Group, leading investment strategy and deal origination in clean energy and data center power infrastructure. Her efforts helped shift the firm's focus, resulting in a $10 billion fund dedicated to AI infrastructure in the United States. Looking ahead, she aims to work at the intersection of AI and energy, particularly in power procurement and data center development.
