A recent graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a degree in Communication and Journalism, she brings over four years of experience producing compelling editorial and branded content across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and culture. Amaya is skilled in pitching, writing, and editing engaging stories, with a particular expertise in trend reporting, product insights, event coverage, and on-camera storytelling. Her work reflects a deep understanding of digital media, SEO-driven content, and creative direction, allowing her to craft stories that resonate with diverse audiences.

Currently, Amaya serves as a Prestige Beauty Advisor at Ulta Beauty, where she advises clients on luxury skincare and makeup products while translating her product expertise into captivating educational content for in-store and social media audiences. Alongside her role at Ulta, she continues to create editorial content as a freelance beauty and lifestyle writer, collaborating with brands such as Vintage to Vogue and Aesthetics Couture. Her work balances creativity with strategy, leveraging analytics and audience insights to produce stories that are both timely and impactful.

Beyond her professional work, Amaya is deeply committed to mentorship and entrepreneurship. As a partner with the HBCU Founders Initiative, she supports emerging student entrepreneurs and recently won a 2025 business pitch competition.
