Amber Garrity is a compassionate professional dedicated to helping individuals on their journey to recovery and wellness. Based in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, she has served as a Certified Recovery Specialist with Geisinger Health Plan, where she supported clients in overcoming addiction and rebuilding their lives with dignity and purpose. Her experience in behavioral health has allowed her to combine empathy, communication, and practical recovery strategies to make a meaningful impact in her community.
Currently, Amber contributes her expertise as an Executive Assistant at Redemption Row, an organization focused on supporting individuals in recovery and reintegration. She also serves as a Certified Recovery Specialist with CMSU Community Program, continuing her hands-on involvement in advocacy and client care. Her active role in Lycoming County Systems of Care as a volunteer team member further reflects her commitment to community-based collaboration and improving access to mental health and recovery resources.
Amber is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Colorado Technical University, blending her academic growth with her real-world experience in behavioral health. My advice to young women entering this industry is to never be afraid to voice your opinion. Stand tall, stay confident, and always be proud of who you are and what you bring to the table.

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in our field right now is increasing awareness—making sure people know that we’re here and ready to help those in need.
