Her Story
About Amber
I've been in technology and organizational systems for going on 15 years now. I really lean into the chaos of things and see challenges as opportunities to try something new. I've always had a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of attitude - I think Rosie the Riveter meets modern strategy. If something looks hard or messy, I'm the first to lean in, and that's really where the impact happens. I thrive in the strategy to execution gray space. In my current role as a customer success account manager, I focus on working with clients to accelerate value, simplifying complexity and creating strategies that actually work. I'm really big on continuous improvement and always diving into how we turn uncertainty into clarity and build trust along the way to strengthen relationships. I work in the cleared space with military clients, and one of my proudest moments was being able to be a part of the largest digital transformation for the Navy and leading that pilot moment to take theory and turn it to reality. I'm currently in an Executive MBA program while balancing my career and family life.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience and being able to learn from failures more than I learn from success. One of the most important parts is really anchoring yourself in purpose - everything that I do is driven by purpose, not by whatever outcome. I truly am driven by a North Star of purpose. It's about being willing to always step up to the plate and being able to say yes, because readiness is a myth and courage is a choice. You have to take the leap even before you're fully prepared, because most of the time, you're going to be able to figure it out along the way. I also want to acknowledge that every chapter of my life has not been me getting there - it's built on everyone around me that has helped drive it forward.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I think it's really being willing to always step up to the plate and being able to say yes, because readiness is a myth and courage is a choice. You need to take the leap even before you're fully prepared, because most of the time, you're going to be able to figure it out along the way. Don't wait until you feel ready - just go for it and you'll learn as you go.
