About Amber
Amber Knox has spent over 10 years in research administration at Indiana University. She works directly with researchers across all campus units to develop budgets and prepare documents for funding applications. In addition to her pre-award support responsibilities, she trains departmental and new staff on processes and mentors college students through programs such as the Mentor Collective and the IU staff Mentorship program. Amber holds a CRA certification through RACC and SRA. She earned her master's degree in adult education from Indiana University in 2016 after completing her sociology undergraduate studies, which included a transfer from Ivy Tech. Her professional approach is shaped by humanistic and progressive values that emphasize listening to others and continuous improvement.
