Amber Victoria Stanford
Amber Stanford is a highly skilled Food Scientist with extensive experience in quality assurance, food safety, and product development across the food, cosmetic, and consumer packaged goods industries. She currently serves as a Quality Assurance Manager and Consultant, helping businesses implement robust quality assurance programs, ensure FDA compliance, and achieve third-party certifications such as NSF and GFSI. Amber’s expertise spans manufacturing and distribution operations, where she leverages her deep knowledge of regulatory standards to support operational excellence and product safety.
Prior to her current role, Amber held several key positions in quality assurance and food safety, including Quality Assurance Specialist at PM International, FSQA Compliance Manager at BCBDOO, LLC, and QA Manager at Firehouse Subs. She has successfully led initiatives to create and implement SOPs, cGMPs, HACCP plans, and other compliance programs, ensuring both regulatory adherence and operational efficiency. Her experience includes guiding start-ups through regulatory approvals, developing new product processes, and managing vendor compliance programs, reflecting her adaptability and leadership in dynamic environments.
Amber earned her Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of Florida, where she actively participated in student organizations such as the African Student Union and the Food Science and Human Nutrition Club. She holds certifications including ServSafe® Instructor/Proctor and HACCP, and is recognized for her collaborative approach, professionalism, and consistent contributions to research and development in food safety.
