Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success first and foremost to God and to the unwavering support of my parents. My journey began in college while working retail, where I regularly made bank deposits—that's when I became curious about the banking world. That interest led me to a teller position, and over the years, through hard work and persistence, I worked my way up to where I am today.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to stay curious about everything. Curiosity has driven me to ask questions, seek out opportunities for growth, and continuously learn—qualities that have been essential throughout my career in banking and financial regulation.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the banking and financial industry is this: You can go far—believe in yourself and your abilities. Don’t let doubt hold you back. With hard work, curiosity, and confidence, there’s no limit to what you can achieve in this field.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me—both professionally and personally—are family, balance, and connection. Family is at the core of everything I do, and I strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance by teaching Zumba on the side, which brings me joy and allows me to give back to the community through wellness. I also love to travel and spend quality time with loved ones, which keeps me grounded and inspired in all areas of life.
