What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my family—especially my parents and my husband—who instilled in me a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for hard work. My father, a military veteran, and my mother both modeled resilience and dedication throughout my upbringing, while my husband reinforced the value of earning what you achieve through consistent effort. Their examples shaped my mindset early on, and I carry that sense of pride and gratitude for hard work into everything I do.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to keep going. It may sound simple, but it has been incredibly meaningful in shaping my mindset. I’ve learned that persistence matters, and that when you continue to put in the work—even through challenges—the reward at the end is worth it. Hard work and consistency eventually lead to meaningful results.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to never be afraid to ask questions or speak up when you’re unsure. Curiosity is one of the most powerful tools you can have, and you will never learn or grow if you don’t ask. I’ve gained so much knowledge in my own journey simply by learning from those who are more experienced and willing to share their insights. Even the experts were once beginners, and seeking guidance from those who have walked the path before you is one of the best ways to grow and build confidence.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In my field, one of the biggest challenges is keeping up with compliance, which, while not the most exciting topic, is absolutely essential and can make or break a business. The legal and regulatory landscape is constantly evolving, so staying informed and adaptable is critical at all times. I often compare compliance to insurance—you may not think about it every day, but it’s something you’re grateful to have when you need it. Ultimately, it’s a foundational element of any successful business, and I consistently emphasize its importance because it directly impacts long-term stability and success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are consistency, loyalty, and understanding. I believe consistency builds trust and long-term success, loyalty strengthens relationships and commitment, and understanding allows for stronger communication and empathy in all interactions. Together, these values guide how I show up professionally and personally, and they shape the way I build meaningful and lasting connections.
