01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The greatest piece of advice is to not be afraid to try new things. The major that I have for my master's was new for me in that field of UX design. Something that I just kind of gravitated towards and wanted to try something new, as well as even growing food. It was something my family tried to pass down to me, and I wasn't really into it when I was younger. Now it's like that I'm exploring with the kids as I'm learning new things that we grow together, and I just try to lean in a bit more. That's the best advice that I've been given, is to just try new things, lean in, don't be closed-minded.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
A no doesn't necessarily mean that you can't do it. It just might mean try another way. You know, don't give up. I know from job interviews or just teachers might not see your potential with certain projects that you want to bring to the table. Just don't let no limit you from trying something that you have a passion for.
