01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my passion for being a leader, a mentor, and a positive role model for others. As an African-American woman in healthcare, I believe representation and diversity are incredibly important, and I am motivated by the opportunity to help create pathways for future generations. I am also a lifelong learner who continuously seeks new knowledge, experiences, and perspectives, knowing that personal and professional growth comes from a commitment to learning and self-improvement.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the healthcare industry is to first identify your purpose and understand why you are pursuing this path. Having a clear sense of purpose will help guide your decisions and keep you motivated throughout your career. I also encourage embracing every opportunity for growth, whether through new experiences, challenges, or learning opportunities. Most importantly, avoid comparing your journey to anyone else’s—focus on your own progress, trust your unique path, and continue striving toward your goals with confidence.
