Amu Asuquo

Amu Asuquo is a senior property management professional with extensive experience in multifamily real estate. She is transitioning to a new position as VP of Operations at a smaller company based in Baltimore, Maryland, where she will focus on building operations, policies, and procedures for a portfolio of 2,600 units with plans for growth and acquisitions. Previously, she served for 17 years as Senior Director of Property Management at her last company, overseeing operations across 6 states and more than 10,000 units, with responsibilities including team leadership, capital improvements, technology implementation, and change management. Amu specializes in people-centered leadership, building processes and procedures, career succession planning, and operational strategy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Towson University in 2009. She has been a board member of the Maryland Multi-Housing Association for about 12 years, serving as vice president and on the executive committee for more than 10 years. Additionally, she has developed partnerships with the nonprofit Bridges to provide mentorship and career exposure in real estate to underprivileged youth, and with Urban Alliance to train maintenance technicians.
