Her Interview
Ten minutes with Amy
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to determination, resilience, and the willingness to keep moving forward despite challenges. I believe it is important to never give up on yourself, embrace opportunities to learn from setbacks, and recognize that growth comes from both successes and failures. No one and nothing is perfect, but by staying committed, adapting, and continuously improving, I have been able to overcome obstacles and achieve meaningful results throughout my career.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to never take someone’s attitude or reactions toward me personally, as they are often a reflection of their own experiences and circumstances rather than a reflection of my abilities. I have learned the importance of showing confidence, even in moments of uncertainty, while recognizing that it is okay not to have every answer. Staying open to learning, asking questions, and approaching challenges with self-assurance have been essential to my professional growth and success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to be confident in who they are and not allow themselves to be intimidated by challenges or opportunities. Embrace your unique personality, strengths, and skills, and recognize the value you bring to the table. Do not be afraid to take risks, step outside of your comfort zone, and pursue opportunities that allow you to grow. Authenticity, confidence, and a willingness to learn are key to building a successful and fulfilling career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now is helping organizations and individuals navigate change effectively without becoming overwhelmed by the larger picture. As technology and business processes continue to evolve, it is important to break complex initiatives into manageable steps and create a sense of confidence throughout the transition. Successful change requires clear communication, collaboration, and the ability to help people understand the value behind new solutions and ways of working.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are trust, honesty, and authenticity. I believe in building relationships where people feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings openly, creating an environment based on respect and mutual understanding. I also value having a good sense of humor, because I believe it is important to find moments of laughter, maintain perspective, and not take every challenge too seriously. These values help me build meaningful connections and approach both professional and personal experiences with positivity and sincerity.
