About Amy
Amy Houser is a tax services, B2B relationship management, team leadership, and office operations professional with 17 years of experience. She started both her H&R Block and school positions on the same day 17 years ago. At H&R Block she began as a receptionist, completed tax training to become a tax professional, and advanced to manage one office, then two, and for the past nine years three offices. When tax season ends she returns to the school as a substitute teacher and interventionist, roles that allow her summers off. Her background in mental health studies supports her work supporting students facing trauma and behavioral challenges as well as clients navigating stressful tax situations. Amy values honesty, integrity, hard work, and servant leadership, often leading by example even when tasks like cleaning are required. She and her husband pastor a church, extending her commitment to serving others through graveside services and community support.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, integrity, hard work, servant leadership, and showing love and kindness to people in need. I value being willing to do any task myself to lead by example, even cleaning toilets if needed. Helping people through high-anxiety situations like taxes or supporting traumatized children is central to my approach.
