What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a strong commitment to service, community engagement, and supporting those in need. Throughout my career, I have sought opportunities to give back—whether through donating to United Way, contributing hundreds of pounds of peanut butter to help fight hunger, or participating in initiatives that uplift local families. I also actively support causes such as “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” to raise awareness of domestic violence, NAMI, which promotes mental health and wellness and the Orange County Corporate 5K. In addition, I have been honored to contribute to programs that support veterans, including involvement with Veterans Court in Minnesota and ongoing partnerships with the VA in Orlando. These experiences have reinforced my belief that meaningful impact comes from collaboration, compassion, and a willingness to step forward when others need support.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Stay the Course, stay true to yourself and always do what’s right.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me—both professionally and personally—center around balance, resilience, and meaningful connection. I prioritize maintaining a healthy lifestyle through activities such as walking, golf, and being outdoors, which help me stay grounded and focused. Family is equally important to me; as a parent of two young men and as someone who has been married for 29 years, I value commitment, support, and being present. In my work, I strive to approach every situation with patience and perspective. I believe in not taking things personally and maintaining composure, even in challenging environments. These values allow me to build strong relationships, lead effectively, and create a positive atmosphere for the people around me.
