About Amy
Amy Jerome, MALS, BS, BA, is a change management consultant and Co-Founder of Perspectives Consulting Partners in Raleigh, North Carolina. With more than two decades of consulting experience, she partners with organizations to navigate complex change, strengthen communication and engagement, and build workplace cultures where people can thrive. Amy co-founded Perspectives Consulting Partners with Quinn Haslinger after transitioning from nonprofit work and boutique consulting, bringing a human-centered approach to organizational development, leadership, and culture transformation. Her work is grounded in curiosity, connection, and courageous collaboration, focused on creating practical strategies that align people, processes, and organizational goals. Amy’s career reflects diverse experiences and a refreshingly non-linear path that has strengthened her ability to support the unique needs of today's workforce. Before consulting, Amy taught high school English, an experience that shaped her enduring appreciation for storytelling, communication, and learning. She later built expertise across nonprofit and consulting environments, serving in senior leadership roles at Girls on the Run of San Diego, Blue Star Families, and ProMedica Health, all of which strengthened her commitment to supporting communities. As part of the boutique consultancy Root, an Accenture company, she helped organizations address workforce transformation, leadership alignment, performance, and change. A military spouse for almost 25 years, Amy has developed a deep appreciation for adaptability and learned to view change as an opportunity for growth, learning, and reinvention. Amy earned a B.A. in English with a concentration in Journalism and a B.S. in Health Appraisal from Miami University, followed by an M.A. in Liberal Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change at Tiffin University. Her professional expertise includes change management, organizational development, human capital consulting, leadership development, strategic alignment, program management, organizational learning, business analysis, and performance management. Through Perspectives Consulting Partners, Amy remains committed to helping organizations create healthier, more connected, and more effective workplaces where people and performance can flourish.

Ten minutes with Amy
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is not to let other people define who you are and not to be afraid of change. As a military spouse for nearly 25 years, I learned to embrace change and to use it as a mechanism for growth and evolution. This adaptability has made it easier for me to listen to my heart, and I believe your career can reflect purpose and meaning.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to trust your gut and use your voice. You know what is best for you. Do that. Success does not happen overnight - it comes through commitment, diligence, and belief in yourself. Nobody else can define that for you or give it to you. You are your own best advocate, believer, and champion.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values for our company are curiosity, connection and courageous collaboration. We strive to be curious, ask questions, foster workplace connection built on trust, and challenge the status quo through courageous collaboration and hard conversations. These values have become how we approach our work.
