Amy K. Morrow
Amy K. Morrow is an educator, instructional designer, and founder of INCLUCID, based in the Grand Rapids metropolitan area. With academic foundations in education and communication studies from Eastern Michigan University and Ferris State University, she has built a multifaceted career spanning classroom teaching, special education, and learning experience design. Her work consistently centers on bridging data, learning systems, and human potential translating complex information into accessible, actionable growth pathways.
In addition to her education leadership background, Amy now specializes in teaching intentional, teacher-led AI adoption, primarily mentoring high-level executives on how to integrate artificial intelligence without losing the heart, culture, and identity of their organizations. She operates in a mobile-first, highly adaptive model delivering her consulting work directly and informally, often outside traditional corporate environments, emphasizing practicality over performance. Drawing from years of experience as an executive assistant to a senior CEO, she brings a deep understanding of leadership dynamics, having engaged in daily conversations centered on people-first decision-making, accountability, and legacy-driven leadership. That influence continues to shape her mission of ensuring individuals at the top of organizations remain connected to the people who make their work possible.
Through her consulting practice and newly established LLC, Amy works with values-aligned leaders at an accessible rate structure while emphasizing real-time application over formality or convention. Her philosophy challenges corporate norms that prioritize appearance over expertise, advocating instead for clarity, authenticity, and efficiency in how work gets done. She often describes AI as a powerful but hollow tool one that requires human intention to be meaningful and views her role as helping leaders reclaim time, presence, and perspective. Whether working from a garden or in transit, she models a way of working that prioritizes freedom, integrity, and the belief that technology should serve humanity, not overshadow it.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to everyone who has come before me mentors, colleagues, educators, leaders, and the lived experiences that have shaped my perspective. I often describe myself as a vessel for what I’ve been given: knowledge, opportunity, guidance, and the lessons learned through both success and challenge. My growth has been made possible by standing on the foundation others have built, and I remain committed to honoring that by passing forward what I’ve learned in a way that supports, uplifts, and empowers others.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Always look for the good. I was a wine rep, a wine director for years, and people with very high influence after a couple of glasses of wine will give you some real good gems. Because of me being very curious, I never dug into the gossip part. I wanted to know - I'm like, how'd you get where you are? Like, tell me those things. Tell me the good stuff. Give me the good news. The best career advice is always look for the good.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to understand that being who you are is your greatest advantage. You do not need to reshape yourself to fit outdated expectations or diminish your voice to be taken seriously. The most sustainable success comes from bringing your full perspective, your lived experience, and your authenticity into every space you enter. Skills can be taught and tools will change, but your ability to think critically, lead with integrity, and remain grounded in who you are will always be your true differentiator.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field is institutionalized misconception—outdated assumptions about how work, leadership, and technology should function. The greatest opportunity is the beauty of choice, as individuals and organizations now have more freedom than ever to redesign systems in ways that are more human-centered, intentional, and effective.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty is the most important value in both my work and personal life. I believe clear, truthful communication builds trust, strengthens relationships, and creates the foundation for meaningful progress. It guides how I lead, how I collaborate, and how I show up for others, ensuring that my actions remain aligned with my intent and integrity.
