Ten minutes with Amy

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to consistency, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. I stay curious, keep learning, and focus on doing quality work that people can rely on.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to focus on progress, not perfection. If you keep improving, learning, and showing up consistently, your career naturally grows over time.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Focus on building strong fundamentals and don’t be afraid to ask questions early on. Confidence comes from understanding your work, and that takes time.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The field is becoming more complex as financial reporting, systems, and regulations continue to evolve, so it really requires you to stay flexible and keep learning as you go. At the same time, there’s a lot of opportunity with automation and process improvements, which are taking away some of the more manual work and allowing you to spend more time on analysis, insights, and actually helping guide better business decisions.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, consistency, and accountability are most important to me. I also value continuous growth and being someone others can rely on and trust in both work and life.
