Amy began her professional journey in finance, managing secured and unsecured loans and related insurance sales, before transitioning to Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where she gained extensive experience in branch management and sales prior to joining IAA.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership from Bluefield College after completing an Associate of Science at Wytheville Community College. She pursued her education while working full-time and raising her son, demonstrating resilience, dedication, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Known for her organizational skills, leadership, and customer-focused approach, Amy continues to drive success for her team and branch while mentoring future professionals and upholding a high standard of operational excellence.

I attribute my success to my son, who inspires me every day to work hard, stay focused, and lead with integrity. His motivation and support have shaped my dedication to both my personal and professional growth, driving me to set high standards, overcome challenges, and continuously strive for excellence in all that I do.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never be afraid to try something new. Embracing new opportunities, even when they feel challenging or outside my comfort zone, has allowed me to grow professionally, develop new skills, and advance my career while building confidence as a leader.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Urges young women entering the industry to be unafraid to take on roles regardless of traditional gender expectations women are fully capable of operating in heavy-equipment and automotive environments and should pursue any avenue of career opportunity.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is the time and effort it takes to learn and master all aspects of the business, from operations to leadership and customer service. At the same time, the opportunities are endless—every challenge presents a chance to grow, develop new skills, and make a meaningful impact on my team and organization.

The most important value in both my work and personal life is relationships. I believe that building strong, trusting connections with colleagues, clients, and family is the foundation for success, collaboration, and meaningful impact.
