Amy Dion Randolph is a Division Order Analyst in the oil and gas industry, currently serving with Viper Energy Inc. in Odessa, Texas. She is responsible for managing mineral ownership records, analyzing legal and title documentation, calculating revenue interests, maintaining ownership data, and ensuring the accurate distribution of royalty payments. Throughout her career, she has built extensive experience in division order administration, land records, ownership transfers, tax verification, and revenue management. Prior to joining Viper Energy, she held progressive roles with Diamondback Energy and Endeavor Energy Resources, steadily advancing through dedication, technical expertise, and a commitment to operational accuracy.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Randolph is currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at Odessa College, where she has consistently earned recognition on the President's List for her academic excellence. She plans to continue her education by pursuing a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering with a minor in Geology at The University of Texas Permian Basin. She is an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and the Permian Basin Division Order Analyst Association (PBDOA), reflecting her dedication to leadership development and professional advancement within the energy sector.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success first and foremost to the unwavering support of my family, especially my husband, who encouraged me to return to school and pursue my goals. I also credit my own dedication, perseverance, and commitment to academic excellence, which has helped me consistently earn recognition on the President's List throughout much of my college career.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've received is to do what I truly love while appreciating the journey it takes to get there. Meaningful careers are built over time, and every experience along the way contributes to long-term success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to always ask questions because there is no such thing as a dumb question. Be willing to learn, take detailed notes, and remain curious. Those habits will help you build knowledge, confidence, and credibility throughout your career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field is the continued growth of our company through new well acquisitions, which creates additional learning experiences and career advancement. At the same time, that growth brings increased workloads and greater responsibility, making organization, adaptability, and continuous learning more important than ever. Personally, recovering from a stroke has also added an unexpected challenge to my journey, reinforcing the importance of resilience and perseverance.

In my professional life, I value accuracy, completing work in a timely manner, teamwork, and openly sharing knowledge so everyone can succeed. In my personal life, I value my family above all else and cherish spending quality time with the people who matter most to me.
