Ana Escobar has been working in news for the past 15 years. Her experience is primarily in the Hispanic market. She has been leading newsrooms for the past 15 years, focusing mostly on local news. Currently, she oversees newsrooms in Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, and Miami. She manages a team of writers, producers, anchors, and reporters. Her daily goal is to inform and empower the community through information and by giving them tools to navigate these times.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My dreams are my kids. I want to do better at my work, to be a better patient of myself for them. I hope my old years are gonna be better than my younger years. I'm from Colombia so we grow up different.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Follow your heart, believe in yourself, take one step at a time, take advantage of those stores that is gonna be open on the way, be mindful and supportive to your girls on the way, be nice to each other.
