What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to not be afraid to step into unknown territory. Some of the greatest growth and opportunity come from challenging yourself, trying new things, and embracing situations where you might not have all the answers.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to embrace your own path—don’t be afraid to go back to school or start over at any age. Success doesn’t follow a single timeline, so focus on your goals, trust your instincts, and move forward at your own pace.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is securing an internship. Gaining hands-on experience is essential for building skills and making professional connections, but the competitive landscape can make it difficult for students to find the right opportunities. This also presents an opportunity to be proactive, network strategically, and develop a strong portfolio that sets you apart.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, kindness, and treating others the way I would want to be treated. I strive to approach every interaction with respect and empathy, while also remembering not to take others’ bad days personally. These principles guide how I work, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships.
