What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of perseverance, discipline, and the unwavering support of my family. Building a career in investment management—particularly advising independent advisors on asset allocation, market and economic insights, and fund recommendations for portfolios exceeding US$100 million—requires resilience, consistency, and a deep commitment to continuous learning.
Equally important has been the constant support of my mother and my husband. Their encouragement, perspective, and belief in me have provided both emotional strength and stability, allowing me to stay focused, take calculated risks, and navigate demanding professional environments with confidence. Their support has been a cornerstone of my personal and professional growth, and a key factor in my ability to perform at a high level over the long term.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me, both professionally and personally, are integrity, perseverance, and accountability. I believe in doing the right thing consistently, making disciplined decisions, and taking full ownership of outcomes. These principles guide how I approach investments, relationships, and leadership, and they shape the trust I build with clients, partners, and colleagues.
Equally central to my values is family and mutual support. The influence of Ana del Villar and Víctor De La Llave has reinforced the importance of humility, resilience, and standing by one another through challenges and successes. Their example has shaped my belief that long-term success is built not only on professional excellence, but also on strong personal foundations, respect for others, and a commitment to continuous growth.
