Ana (Chang) Suo

Chang Suo serves as Master Planner at Disney Imagineering, a position she assumed one year ago after beginning her career there as an intern 10 years prior. Her professional path includes roles in design consulting firms in the Los Angeles office and in Boston. Suo specializes in master planning and urban design, with critical skills in collaborating across disciplines to gather and apply information for placemaking and in developing long-term visions that consider needs over the next 10 to 25 years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Beijing, China, followed by a master's degree and GIS certificate from the University of Cincinnati. Notable projects include serving as design leader for the Harvard University Master Plan and contributing to the gondola connecting Union Station to Dodger Stadium, which received approval two years ago. Suo has received design awards such as the New Design Award gold winner, Top 40 design recognition from ARC Daily, and IDA honorable mention along with gold or iron awards. She volunteers on review panels at design schools including SunArc and supports faculty as a board member for master planning integration, and she has presented at the ISOCARP conference in Riyadh.
