About Anagha
She is a dedicated undergraduate researcher and aspiring biomedical engineer with a strong foundation in bioengineering, cell culture, and tumor microenvironment research. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, she works as an Undergraduate Researcher under the Seidlits Research Group, investigating interactions between human microglial cells and glioblastoma cells to understand how microglia influence tumor physiology. She conducts cell culture techniques, immunofluorescence staining, Western blotting, and engineers hyaluronic acid-based hydrogels to mimic aspects of the tumor microenvironment. Prior to her current research role, she completed internships at AI-MD, where she developed strategic webinars and optimized CRM processes, and at VentureStarters.com, where she gained experience in the startup ecosystem. She also served as a Student Instructor at Mathnasium, where she clarified complex mathematical concepts and developed personalized learning plans, and as a Front Desk Receptionist at Silambam Houston. She holds a high school diploma with a 4.0 GPA and was an active member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Marching Band. She is recognized as a driven, intellectually curious, and collaborative researcher who is deeply committed to advancing biomedical research and improving human health through innovative science.
