Anais Nuñez, LPN, MBA, CLSSBB, is a dedicated healthcare operations professional and licensed practical nurse based in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. She currently serves as Site Manager at CMS Diagnostic Services, where she oversees daily operations, ensures patient-centered care, and coordinates cross-functional teams across multiple locations. Anais combines her clinical knowledge with expertise in operational efficiency, process improvement, and technology to create seamless healthcare experiences for both patients and staff. Originally drawn to nursing, Anais paused her studies to raise a family before returning to school in her 30s to complete a bachelor’s degree in health care administration, a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in cybersecurity, and her nursing licensure. Her career journey also includes serving as Director of Technology at Keller Williams, where she helped real estate professionals optimize operations and grow their businesses. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, reflecting her commitment to excellence and continuous learning. Passionate about combining operational strategy with compassionate care, Anais emphasizes integrity, adaptability, and patient-centered solutions in all that she does. Outside of work, between movie outings, game nights, travel adventures, and heartfelt conversations, life with her daughters is what she treasures most. My advice to young women entering this industry is: Follow your passion with purpose— think with your mind but, move with your heart.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Expanding community awareness is a powerful opportunity in healthcare. When patients are informed about their options, they can engage in their care with greater confidence. Education is key to making healthcare more accessible and meaningfully patient-centered.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
At the heart of who I am are honesty and clear communication. I’ve learned that openness and reliability strengthen the right relationships, gently release the ones not meant for us, and align us with people who truly reflect our values. In that space, human connection deepens, and growth, kindness, and support can truly flourish.
