Analie Carr
Analie Carr is an accomplished mathematics educator with over a decade of experience in both secondary and higher education. She currently serves as a mathematics teacher at Calhoun High School through the Lowndes County Board of Education, instructing 11th and 12th-grade students and serving as department chair. In addition, she has been a part-time instructor at Trenholm State Community College in the Upward Bound program since 2012, helping high school students prepare for the ACT, navigate the college selection process, and achieve success beyond graduation.
Analie began her teaching career in 2010 at Three Rivers Academy in Montgomery, Alabama, where she taught grades 6 through 12 as the sole secondary mathematics instructor. This experience, along with a rigorous internship at a magnet school, honed her instructional skills and prepared her for the challenges of public education. She is certified to teach mathematics for grades 6 through 12 and holds specialized certifications in STEM education, AMSTI, Geometry, and Algebra 2.
A Florida native, Analie resides in Montgomery, Alabama, with her husband, Owen, and their two sons, Dixon and Joseph. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Mathematics from Huntingdon College and a master’s degree in STEM from the American College of Education. Outside of her professional work, Analie enjoys horseback riding and is an avid film enthusiast. She is widely recognized for her dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to fostering academic excellence and personal growth in her students.
