Her Interview
Ten minutes with Analiegh
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say just my inner self, like, my own goals I wanted to prove to myself, and to my siblings, that no matter the cards that you were dealt, you can keep going and find jobs you like and make a good life for yourself. When you don't really have anyone else but yourself to depend on, you kind of are forced to make something of it, so I'm really proud of where I've come. I've moved across the country twice by myself at a young age, so that's something I'm proud of. I'm very hard on myself, so it's important to take a step back and just be young for a little bit, and enjoy the journey as well. It is not about the destination.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Success comes from continuing to show up, staying adaptable, and embracing opportunities for growth even when the path is not clearly defined. Building strong relationships and maintaining a positive attitude can open unexpected doors.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would just say never give up, and even though things may seem impossible, there's always help if you look towards yourself or others. Try your best. I think community is a really big, big thing for me.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges are competing with the other states, territories and events. I'm pretty fortunate living in Denver, Colorado - we get a lot of really cool, hands-on athletic events or mountain events, so I'd say Denver is doing pretty good, which would be my territory. The biggest challenge is just kind of finding those niche events and what can get your brand names out there more, and find connections or even just athletes to partner with us. As far as opportunities, there's a lot of opportunity to move up and get into more of the technical side of Monster Energy. I mean, it's a multi-billion, global brand, so there's so many different fields you can go in. Once you kind of know the specific field you want, I think that there's a lot of opportunity to grow. I am still pretty low on the food chain of the Monster Energy company, but it's definitely a company I would like to stick with.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Definitely respect. Teamwork - you know, you're only as strong as your weakest player. From any experience I've had, whether in restaurants, offices, or even this job, it's a very team-driven career. You just need your team to do well. Work, respect, and honestly, just joy and love - empathy really goes a long way. When you love what you do, you do a good job.
