Analyse Winans is a Lead Aesthetician at SpaDerma, a medical spa with multiple locations throughout Chicago, Illinois. A licensed esthetician with nearly five years of experience in the aesthetics industry, she began her professional journey in 2021 after earning her college degree and returning to school to pursue specialized training and licensure in esthetics. Winans specializes in advanced skincare treatments, including chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, and laser hair removal, taking a personalized, results-driven approach to client care. She carefully evaluates each client’s individual concerns, environment, lifestyle, and current skincare products to develop treatment approaches tailored to their specific needs.
Winans has distinguished herself through her technical expertise, leadership, and dedication to delivering exceptional client experiences. In 2025, she was recognized as the No. 2 esthetician among 60 professionals, highlighting her commitment to excellence and measurable results. She was also selected to serve on SpaDerma’s Aesthetic Committee and holds a Beauty Crew certificate, reflecting her continued involvement in professional development and the broader aesthetics community. Winans is passionate about lifelong learning and regularly expands her knowledge through mentorship, professional training, and reading. Winans’ ambition is also shaped by a deeply personal experience: the loss of her father to stage 4 melanoma, which strengthened her determination to pursue her passion and make a meaningful difference in the lives of her clients. She strives to make her treatment room a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and confident in their skincare journey. Outside of her professional life, Winans enjoys spending time with her dog, reading, and being outdoors, activities that allow her to recharge and maintain balance. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ambition, resilience, and the desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Losing my father to stage 4 melanoma was a profound experience that motivated me to work harder, make him proud, and fully embrace the opportunities life provides. It strengthened my determination to pursue my passion and give my best to every client I serve. I take great pride in creating a treatment room that feels like a safe, welcoming space where clients can feel comfortable, supported, and heard. Knowing that I can positively impact someone’s confidence and well-being through my work continues to inspire me every day.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is simple: you have to go for it. I believe in taking the initiative, pursuing opportunities with confidence, and not allowing fear or self-doubt to hold me back. I also value the importance of surrounding myself with people who believe in my potential, would confidently speak my name in any room, and challenge me to think bigger. Being around individuals with aspirations greater than my own inspires me to continue growing, dream bigger, and strive for excellence in every stage of my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The best advice I would give to young women entering the aesthetics industry is to always ask questions and never allow yourself to feel intimidated. Remember who you are, why you chose this career, and the value you bring to your clients. Be authentic, genuine, and true to the people you serve, while maintaining open and consistent communication. The industry can feel overwhelming at times, but don’t let fear hold you back. Stay confident, remain curious, continue learning, and trust yourself as you grow both personally and professionally.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is the opportunity to take a life-changing leap professionally, including the possibility of relocating to Malibu, California for a role that I have worked toward and manifested. For me, the challenge is deciding whether to remain comfortable and potentially become complacent in a position where I am already successful and financially secure, or to take a risk and pursue something new, unfamiliar, and potentially transformative. I believe continued growth requires me to challenge myself, embrace change, and avoid allowing comfort or monotony to limit my potential.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is one of the most important values I strive to uphold in both my professional and personal life. I believe in practicing my core values and beliefs consistently, not just when it is convenient, and remaining true to who I am. I make a conscious effort to live with authenticity, hold myself accountable, and continually evaluate whether my choices and actions align with the best version of myself. For me, success means growing while staying grounded in who I am and what I stand for.
