Ten minutes with Ananya

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say hard work, family, and friends, and support. So hard work and support, and I've had good mentors, family, friends, support me throughout, and then hard work and passion.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I think be curious is great advice that I've got. Be curious, ask more questions, and keep learning.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The young women entering my field, I'd say that, I'd say be curious and be proactive and not afraid of change. Those would be my biggest advice, just get out there and, you know, seize whatever opportunities you can, ask lots of questions, and be passionate.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I would say one of the biggest opportunities is the fact that AI is coming in. So if you're someone who is curious and always willing to learn, then there's great opportunity with AI, because you need to keep upskilling and be proactive about what you can bring to the investment world. And in terms of what is a challenge, I'm gonna say AI again, because it's adopting AI, and saying, again, how can I use AI and use technology in, you know, a world which has a lot of, like, how can I use it in my technical world?

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I think, curiosity, being resilient, Yeah, these are, these are quite important to me. And hard, yeah, hard work, curiosity, and being resilient are the main things.
