Her Interview
Ten minutes with Ananya
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to staying focused and enjoying working with people while solving business problems. I'm inquisitive by nature, which helps me learn about each domain I hire for. Staying connected with multiple stakeholders at the same time is key, as every hiring decision has the potential to change someone's career while helping the business grow. That combination of human connection and business impact keeps me motivated.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've received is don't let self-doubt stop you from pursuing any opportunity. You don't have to know everything before taking the next step. Stay curious and continue learning. Ask questions because that's how you get answers. Trust that growth comes from challenging yourself. If you stay in your comfort zone, you will not learn.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is hiring for niche profiles. It's not just about filling a position but finding the right person for the company and the right company for the individual. I take it very seriously to do justice to both the company and the candidate so that no one feels it was the wrong opportunity later on.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Earned trust is the most important value to me in both personal and professional life. Staying loyal to your team, customers, candidates, and stakeholders, and keeping their trust intact is essential.
