Her Story
About Anastacia
Anastacia Franklin serves as a maintenance supervisor at a new site for Beacon Communities, a position she began this week. Her professional journey started around 2006 at Family of Woodstock in Kingston, New York, where she was placed through the YouthBuild program and worked as a maintenance technician for the nonprofit that supports underprivileged, homeless, and mental health individuals in the community. She learned extensively from Thomas Bell during her time there. When the pandemic hit, Franklin transitioned to the property maintenance field, working first with a company managing four properties in her area and later with Rose Associates, where she received a promotion. She recently obtained her EPA 608 Universal Certification. Franklin aspires to grow into a Regional Director role and eventually own her own rental properties and property management company. She credits her success to her work ethic as a hard worker and advises that the world was not built in a day. Franklin sees strong opportunities for women in her industry due to their attention to detail and organizational skills.
